Updates

01/08/26 - Registration for the 2026/27 season is now open. Although teams have until the 31st August to register, the number of available places will initially be limited to 30 teams on each night. Do not leave it too late to register your team and risk missing out.

02/08/26 - More than half of the available places on a Wednesday night have now gone pending the payment of registration fees. Please don't think that you have plenty of time to register and leave it too late as you may miss out. It only takes a few minutes to register your team. If your team plays from a venue that is not directly invoiced then your registration for the forthcoming season will only be accepted once payment has been received.

05/08/26 - There are now only a handful of places remaining on both a Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note that if you play from a venue that is not invoiced for their teams, registering a team does not secure you a place. Your registration is pending until you have paid your team registration fee and if other teams register and pay before you then you risk losing out on participating in the upcoming season.

06/08/26 - Tuesday night is now provisionally full.

We would like to begin by announcing the renewal of our sponsorship deal with Racks Pool & Sports Bar for the 2026/27 season and we look forward to our next presentation night being held in their new function room at Clee Racks.

In previous seasons we've waited until the middle of August before opening up registration for the new season, but we have decided to bring it forward to give teams more time to do so and to help a number of new venues that have expressed an interest in joining the league.

Registration for the new season will therefore open on the 1st August and will close on the 31st August. The number of available places for the new season will initially be limited to the first 60 teams to have their registration accepted, with 30 places available on each night. This is to allow for an even number of teams across the divisions and to prevent any problems when generating the fixtures for the new season. Please be aware that we have a lot of interest for the new season and we therefore advise teams to register sooner rather than later. Once all of the places have been filled, any additional teams will be placed on a waiting list. If there is a sufficient number of teams on the waiting list, we may be able to increase the size of the divisions.

We previously paid £5 per team per season for the use of RackEmApp, but they have increased their fees to £15 per team for a full year. As our season only runs for six months of the year, RackEmApp have said that we can split this price increase with the Racks Summer Pool League. This means that we will now be paying £7.50 per team with the Racks Summer Pool League paying the same amount.

Even though the cost of using RackEmApp has increased, the team registration fee will remain at £50 per team. New teams will be required to pay a new team bond of £25, which is refunded upon completion of the season. The following teams are due a refund of the £25 new team bond they paid for the 2025/26 season:

Birds Eye Bangers, Clee Cons Mariners, Clee Racks, The Drunken Barstools, Lounge Lads & Dads, Racks 101

No Piroe No Parity forfeited the new team bond they paid after withdrawing from the League during the 2025/26 season.

The following venues will be invoiced for their teams:

Birds Eye Sports & Social Club, Cleethorpes Constitutional Club, Hainton Club, The Lounge, Racks Pool & Sports Bar

If your team does not play from one of these venues then your registration for the forthcoming season will only be accepted once payment has been received. If you fail to pay by the deadline date of the 31st August then your registration will be declined. Payment can be made via bank transfer to the League's bank account. Receipts will be provided for teams who wish to claim back the cost of registration from their venue. Teams are also required to include the names of their players when registering. We will not accept registrations with just a captain’s name only.

When forming the divisions for the new season, all teams will be placed in the appropriate division based on a number of different factors. This may include additional teams being promoted to a higher division in order to ensure that division is full. Any team that tries to place a caveat on their registration by threatening to withdraw if they are placed in a particular division will have their registration declined and their players will be prevented from signing en masse for a different team to try and circumvent this.

If your team has played in a previous season of the Racks Winter Pool League or the Racks Summer Pool League then you will already be on the RackEmApp system and won’t need to create a new team from scratch when registering. Please remember when registering your players to search for them first to see if they are already registered in order to prevent duplicate player profiles from being created. If your team plays from a venue with multiple tables and teams you will be required to select the correct table number when registering. Please do not pick a random table number. Check with your venue beforehand to confirm which table your team will be playing on.

If you wish to play from a venue that is not listed on the system, please contact us and we will add the venue to allow you to register your team.
